This course is designed for new Farm Administrators, for new entrants to the farming sector,* for experienced Farm Administrators who are new to livestock farming or are seeking a refresher course, or for other farming professionals who would like to understand more about the farming nuances and physical and legislative record keeping requirements of a farm business with livestock enterprises. *If you are new to the farming sector we recommend you participate in our IAgSA Course 1 - Farm Office Administration before participating in this Course, however this is not required. Topics include typical livestock enterprise production systems and nuances and the farm record keeping needed for livestock legal, cross compliance and farm assurance requirements. The course contains the key aspects that need to be considered and how the student can keep up to date with the changing requirements in their line of work. The format of this course is pre-work and pre-work test, followed by a Zoom virtual classroom, then access to short recordings and finally a course assessment. Students receive the pre-work 3 weeks before the virtual classroom date, and the pre-work test needs to be submitted at least one week before the virtual classroom. Students need to successfully pass the pre-work test to be able to join the virtual classroom session.
